Introduction

The idea

The idea for this blog came to me as I completed the snickelway walk outlined in the book by Mark W Jones called the Snickelways of York.

The idea is to start at one of the super restaurants, cafes or bars on the route, walk the route (as outlined in my other blog - Snickelways of York) and when finished, have a meal or a drink at the venue. The idea was also to write up the visit with this blog, which would include some comments on the venue (and perhaps post on tripadvisor) and then comment on the main topics in the news today.
